BhaashAI
A real-time voice and text translation app covering India's 22 official languages plus English, with a two-way Conversation mode for face-to-face use.

Problem
India's language diversity hits a real wall in everyday situations — travel, customer service, family conversations across generations and regions — and text-only translators handle spoken, face-to-face conversation awkwardly.
Solution
A mobile app chaining speech-to-text, translation, and text-to-speech into one real-time pipeline, plus a dedicated Conversation mode that splits the screen into two facing, upside-down-flipped halves so two people can each speak into their own side and hear the other's speech translated back — no passing the phone or reading upside down. A server-side credit system charges per request against a shared balance and refunds automatically if the upstream call fails.
Outcome
In active development, not yet shipped to an app store. Translate, Voice, and Conversation modes are built and working end-to-end against a live backend; in-app credit top-ups are intentionally not yet wired to a real payment provider — an MVP scoping decision, not a gap.
